We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a supportive secondary school from September 2026. This is a fantastic long-term, permanent opportunity for an educator passionate about inspiring young minds in mathematics. The role offers excellent career progression and is suitable for an Early Career Teacher (ECT), a teacher on the Main Pay Scale (MPS), or an Upper Pay Scale (UPS) teacher, with salary paid to scale.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons across key stages, ensuring all students are challenged and supported.
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to aid their development.
* Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and encouraged to excel.
* Contribute actively to the ongoing development and success of the Maths department.
* Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the overall educational experience.
* Participate in school activities and parents' evenings, fostering strong home-school partnerships.
About You
* You possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and hold a relevant degree in Mathematics or a related field.
* You demonstrate a genuine passion for teaching Maths and inspiring a love for the subject in young people.
* You have excellent classroom management skills, capable of maintaining an orderly and productive learning space.
* You are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
* You exhibit strong communication and interpersonal abilities, effective with students, colleagues, and parents.
* You are adaptable and innovative in your teaching approaches, catering to diverse learning needs.
