About the Role
This is an outstanding opportunity for a dedicated Design Technology Teacher to join a respected school located within the vibrant Shropshire area. The institution is seeking an inspiring educator for a permanent, long-term contract, commencing September 2026. Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver stimulating Design Technology lessons across the secondary curriculum.
* Implement effective strategies to ensure all students make excellent progress in DT.
* Assess student work thoroughly, providing constructive feedback for development.
* Maintain a safe, well-organised, and inspiring learning environment within the workshop and classroom.
* Contribute actively to the wider departmental initiatives and school community.
* Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.

About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant experience teaching Design Technology at secondary level.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for DT and the ability to convey this enthusiasm to students.
* Exhibit excellent classroom management skills, fostering a positive and productive atmosphere.
* Committed to continuous professional development and enhancing your teaching practice.
* Able to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in Design Technology.
* A collaborative team player with strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
