Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Biology lessons across the secondary key stages.
* Inspire students through innovative teaching methods, encouraging scientific curiosity and critical thinking.
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
* Contribute actively to the ongoing development of the Science curriculum and departmental initiatives.
* Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported.
* Engage with parents and carers regarding student achievement and well-being.
About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a degree in Biology or a related scientific field.
* Demonstrate a deep passion for Biology and a strong commitment to fostering student success.
* Be proficient in delivering engaging Science lessons, with an ability to teach Chemistry at various levels.
* Possess excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire diverse groups of learners.
* Show a genuine dedication to continuous professional development and collaborative team work.
* Welcome applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as experienced educators (MPS/UPS).
