We are seeking a dedicated SEN Supply Teacher to join a thriving school in High Wycombe, providing crucial support across specialist SEN secondary schools for daily supply and short-term assignments. This pivotal role involves covering classes across adapted curriculum areas within dynamic and varied SEN settings, ensuring continuity of learning and a positive educational experience for all pupils. You will play an essential part in supporting the diverse needs of young people in Buckinghamshire, contributing to an inclusive and effective learning environment available for immediate starts.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and accessible lessons tailored to the specific needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs.
* Maintain a stimulating and supportive classroom environment that fosters pupil engagement and learning.
* Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and differentiated teaching strategies effectively.
* Collaborate professionally with teaching assistants and other support staff to enhance pupil outcomes.
* Adhere strictly to school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and behaviour management protocols.
* Provide consistent feedback on pupil progress, contributing to their ongoing development.
About You
* You possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrate a strong commitment to education.
* You bring valuable experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs, particularly within a secondary school phase.
* You exhibit excellent classroom management skills, promoting a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
* You are highly adaptable and resilient, thriving in diverse and sometimes challenging educational settings.
* You communicate effectively with pupils, staff, and parents, building strong working relationships.
