About the Role
We are actively seeking an innovative and passionate Design and Technology (DT) Teacher to join a flourishing secondary school community. This is a permanent, long-term contract, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic department from 1st September 2026. The successful candidate will be paid to scale, recognising their valuable expertise and commitment within a supportive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons across all secondary Key Stages.
* Assess student progress effectively, providing constructive and timely feedback.
* Maintain a stimulating, safe, and inclusive classroom learning environment.
* Develop innovative schemes of work and creative learning resources.
* Contribute to extracurricular activities and departmental initiatives.

About You
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is an essential requirement.
* Demonstrable experience teaching Design and Technology at secondary level is important.
* Applications are welcomed from Early Career Teachers (ECTs), as well as experienced professionals at MPS/UPS levels.
* Possess strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for DT education.
* Committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere for all pupils.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills are paramount.
