This is an exciting opportunity to join a innovative school seeking a dedicated Reception Class Teacher to nurture our youngest learners within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). We are looking for an enthusiastic educator ready to inspire curiosity and foster foundational skills in a vibrant primary school setting. This position offers flexible contract options, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, or a permanent role, with an immediate start date available. You will be instrumental in creating an engaging and supportive environment where every child feels valued and motivated to explore their potential.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver creative, age-appropriate lessons that align with the EYFS curriculum.
* Observe and assess pupil development, providing constructive feedback to support individual progress.
* Cultivate a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
* Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to enhance pupil outcomes.
* Contribute positively to the wider school community and its various activities.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children’s learning journeys and achievements.
About You
* You possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) relevant to primary education.
* You have demonstrable experience teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage, specifically with Reception-aged children.
* You exhibit a profound understanding of child development principles and effective pedagogical approaches for young learners.
* You are adept at inspiring and motivating pupils, encouraging their natural curiosity and desire to learn.
* You demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, alongside strong organisational abilities.
* You are committed to continuous professional development and reflective teaching practice.
* Applications are warmly welcomed from Early Career Teachers (ECTs), as well as those on Main Pay Scale (MPS) or Upper Pay Scale (UPS).
