About the Role
A dedicated school in Buckinghamshire is seeking an empathetic and proactive Teaching Assistant to support primary pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This vital role involves working within a specialist SEMH setting, fostering a positive learning environment where every child can thrive. We are looking for individuals available for a variety of contract types, including long-term, short-term, daily supply, and permanent positions, with an immediate start available.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to primary pupils experiencing Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.
* Implement effective de-escalation strategies to manage challenging behaviours constructively.
* Cultivate strong, positive relationships with pupils, promoting their well-being and engagement.
* Assist teaching staff in delivering a stimulating and inclusive curriculum.
* Support pupils in accessing learning opportunities and achieving their personal goals.
* Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.

About You
* Possess a genuine passion for supporting children with SEMH needs.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Have a calm, patient, and resilient approach to challenging situations.
* Be proactive in your support, anticipating needs and offering solutions.
* Exhibit the ability to build immediate rapport and trust with young learners.
* Hold relevant experience working with primary-aged children in a support capacity.
