This vital role involves providing specialist support to primary pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs. You will be instrumental in fostering a positive learning environment and can choose from long-term, daily supply, short-term, or permanent opportunities starting as soon as possible, with competitive rates between £95 and £120 per day.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support to primary pupils with SEMH needs.
* Implement effective de-escalation strategies to manage challenging behaviours constructively.
* Mentor pupils, fostering resilience and positive coping mechanisms.
* Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, promoting their emotional well-being.
* Assist class teachers in delivering engaging and accessible learning activities.
* Contribute to creating a supportive and nurturing classroom atmosphere.

* Possess demonstrable experience supporting children with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
* Exhibit exceptional patience, empathy, and a resilient approach to challenges.
