Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to primary pupils, addressing their social, emotional, and mental health needs.
* Implement de-escalation strategies effectively to manage challenging behaviours in a calm manner.
* Mentor pupils to develop positive coping mechanisms and self-regulation skills.
* Foster strong, positive relationships with pupils, promoting their engagement and well-being.
* Assist with the delivery of individualised learning plans, adapting to diverse needs.
* Collaborate closely with class teachers and other professionals to ensure holistic pupil development.
About You
* You possess a genuine passion for supporting primary-aged pupils with SEMH challenges.
* You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport effortlessly.
* You are resilient, patient, and able to remain calm and focused in demanding situations.
* Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs is highly desirable.
