We are working with a school in Ongar who are seeking a music teacher to join and enhance the music department. It is a small mixed school that enrols 500 pupils aged between 11-18 therefore, they currently have a tight knit group of staff. In their most recent inspection, they were awarded ‘Good’ by Ofsted. This vacancy is a full-time position delivering music to KS3 & 4, the successful applicant will start in September.

What is expected of you?
The person appointed will be expected to make a significant contribution to the academic, moral and cultural well-being of students. Applications are welcome from established teachers who have a proven track record of academic success as well as NQTS seeking their first teaching position. KS5 experience isn’t necessary however it is highly desirable as there is a sixth form on site.
