We are working with a school in Chelmsford who is seeking a teacher to join and enhance the humanities department. It is a mixed school that enrols 1,500 pupils aged between 11-18, they had an inspection last year and were awarded ‘Good’ by Ofsted with 3/6 criteria’s being graded outstanding. This vacancy is a full-time position delivering RE, Citizenship & PHSE to KS3 & 4, the successful applicant will start in September.

What is expected of you?

 

The person appointed will be expected to make a significant contribution to the academic, moral and cultural well-being of students. Applications are welcome from established teachers who have a proven track record of academic success as well as NQTS seeking their first teaching position. KS5 experience isn’t necessary however it is highly desirable as there is a sixth form on site.
