Year 6 Teacher

A respected mainstream primary school in Slough is seeking a Year 6 Teacher to join their team from Easter. You’ll guide pupils through their final term of primary education, supporting them to achieve their best and prepare confidently for the next stage in their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver well-planned and engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum

Prepare pupils effectively for SATs and secondary school transition

Create a positive and motivating classroom atmosphere

Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to maximise pupil outcomes

Contribute to the wider life of the school community

About You

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent UK classroom experience

Strong understanding of KS2 curriculum requirements

Excellent behaviour management and interpersonal skills

A positive and professional approach to teaching and learning
