Year 6 Teacher
A thriving mainstream primary school in Slough is looking for an experienced Year 6 Teacher to join their team from January, or sooner if available. You’ll play a key role in preparing pupils for SATs and secondary school transition, delivering inspiring lessons that build confidence and academic achievement.
Key Responsibilities
Teach and plan effective lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum
Prepare pupils for end-of-year assessments and monitor progress
Create a stimulating classroom that supports learning and engagement
Work closely with colleagues to share best practice and support pupil outcomes
Maintain positive communication with parents and carers
About You
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in UK primary schools
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
Strong knowledge of upper KS2 curriculum and assessment preparation
Excellent organisation, planning, and communication skills
