We are looking for a dedicated Teacher of Humanities to join our team at a school in Essex. The role starts TBC and is offered as a Permanent position.
We are looking for an experienced Humanities Teacher with QTS to join a thriving secondary school in Essex. You must have recent UK classroom experience and be confident teaching KS3 and KS4.
This role will involve teaching Humanities across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a focus on History and Geography. You will be expected to plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons, ensuring pupils make strong progress and achieve their potential.
The school has a supportive staff team, a truly inclusive ethos, and strong leadership that prioritises both staff wellbeing and student achievement. There are also opportunities for professional development and career progression.
Key requirements:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Proven experience teaching in UK secondary schools
- Strong subject knowledge in Humanities and commitment to pupil progress
Pay & Details:
- Salary: Paid to scale (£33,959 – £51,984 MPS/UPS equivalent)
- Contract type: Long-term / Ongoing
- Hours: Full school day, term time only
