Early Career Teacher (ECT) – Primary School – Newmarket, Suffolk – September 2025 Start

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Dunbar Education is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Early Career Teacher to join a supportive and well-resourced primary school near Newmarket. Starting in September 2025, this role offers a strong foundation for your career with high-quality mentoring and professional growth on the Main Pay Range (£31,650–£43,607 FTE).

Role Overview

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons across the primary curriculum
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom where every child can thrive
• Work in close partnership with experienced colleagues to support pupil progress
• Participate fully in the school’s structured ECT induction and mentoring programme
• Contribute to the broader school community through extracurricular and pastoral activities

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent – ECT eligible
• Passion for primary education and commitment to ongoing professional development
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Adaptability, reflection, and readiness to learn from feedback
• Team-player mindset with a collaborative approach to teaching and learning
