About the Role

A well-regarded school in Bedfordshire is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support to pupils with a range of additional needs. This long-term role offers stability and the chance to be part of a committed inclusion team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with SEN on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Help implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies
  • Assist in creating a supportive, inclusive learning environment
  • Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to track progress
  • Support with personal care or mobility where required

About You

  • Experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting
  • Patient, resilient, and able to adapt to changing needs
  • Confident in managing behaviour and promoting pupil engagement
  • A team player who can work effectively with staff and families
