About the Role

An SEN secondary school in Aylesbury is seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join their team from April or September 2026 on a permanent, full-time basis. You’ll work with pupils with ASD and ADHD, delivering structured and supportive teaching that meets individual learning needs and promotes positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with ASD and ADHD
  • Create a calm, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Support academic, emotional, and social development
  • Work collaboratively with SEN staff, therapists, and pastoral teams
  • Monitor progress and contribute to individual education plans

About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching pupils with SEN
  • Strong understanding of ASD and ADHD strategies and interventions
  • Confident behaviour management and relationship-building skills
  • A patient, resilient, and nurturing teaching approach
