About the Role

A supportive mainstream secondary school in Milton Keynes is seeking an experienced SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their team from January or sooner. You’ll work closely with teaching staff and the SENCO to support students with additional learning needs and contribute to inclusive classroom practice.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver targeted SEN support through 1:1 and small group interventions

Support lesson delivery and provide cover where appropriate

Assist with planning, adapting, and differentiating learning materials

Monitor and report on pupil progress and engagement

Promote independence, confidence, and positive behaviour

About You

Proven experience supporting SEN pupils in a UK secondary school setting

HLTA status or equivalent experience

Strong communication and organisational skills

A calm, proactive, and inclusive approach
