Sen Higher Level Teaching Assistant
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced SEN HLTA to join a vibrant mainstream secondary school in Milton Keynes. You’ll play a key role in supporting students with additional learning needs, helping them to engage positively in lessons and achieve their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
Collaborate with teachers to plan and adapt differentiated learning activities
Monitor progress and provide feedback to the SENCO and teaching staff
Encourage independence and confidence among learners
Support the school’s inclusion ethos and wider SEND strategy
About You
Proven experience supporting SEN students in a UK school setting
HLTA status or Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) preferred
Strong communication skills and a calm, proactive approach
A genuine commitment to improving outcomes for all learners
