Science Teacher – Biology

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and well-qualified Teacher of Biology to join a thriving and successful Science Department. This position involves teaching Biology across Key Stages 3–5, with the opportunity to teach A Level Biology for a suitably experienced candidate.

The department is dynamic, collaborative, and highly regarded within the school. Science is a popular and successful subject, with excellent results and strong student uptake — over 200 pupils currently study Science in the Sixth Form. The school boasts outstanding facilities, including a newly built, dedicated STEM block.

About You

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant Science degree.
• Ability to teach engaging and challenging Biology lessons across KS3–KS5.
• Strong subject knowledge and commitment to excellent teaching and learning.
• Collaborative, enthusiastic, and eager to contribute to departmental success.
