About the Role

A mainstream secondary school in Milton Keynes is seeking a Reset Mentor to support students returning to learning following behavioural or emotional challenges. You’ll play a key role in helping pupils re-engage positively with school life and develop strategies for long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 and small group mentoring for pupils in reset or intervention settings

Support behaviour regulation and emotional wellbeing

Work closely with pastoral, SEN, and teaching staff

Monitor progress and contribute to behaviour support plans

Promote a calm, structured, and supportive learning environment

About You

Experience working with young people in a behaviour, mentoring, or pastoral role

Strong communication, empathy, and resilience

Ability to build positive, trusting relationships

A consistent and solution-focused approach
