About the Role

A welcoming mainstream secondary school in Milton Keynes is seeking a professional and organised Receptionist to join their front office team from February half-term. This part-time, temp-to-perm role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy school environment and being the first point of contact for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the school reception and act as the first point of contact
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and visitor sign-in procedures
  • Provide administrative support to the wider school office
  • Maintain accurate records and support safeguarding procedures
  • Ensure a calm, friendly, and professional reception environment

About You

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role, ideally within a school setting
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Confident using office systems and managing multiple tasks
  • A professional, approachable, and reliable manner
