We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated History Teacher to join our successful and supportive Humanities department at a thriving secondary school in Wolverhampton.
The successful candidate will be passionate about bringing history to life in the classroom, inspiring curiosity about the past, and helping students develop strong analytical and critical thinking skills. You will deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to contribute to KS5 for suitably experienced candidates.
The Role
- Teach History across KS3 and KS4
- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons
- Assess, track, and support student progress effectively
- Contribute positively to the wider life of the school and department
- Uphold high standards of behaviour, inclusion, and safeguarding
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for History
- Is committed to raising achievement for all learners
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills
- ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply
