About the Role
Join a supportive secondary school in Smethwick as a History Teacher, starting after October half term. You’ll be responsible for delivering engaging KS3–KS4 History lessons and contributing to a department known for its collaborative approach and strong academic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative and effective History lessons for KS3 and KS4
- Assess and track student progress, ensuring every learner achieves their potential
- Contribute to department planning, enrichment activities, and curriculum development
- Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
About You
- Hold QTS or QTLS with experience teaching History in UK secondary schools
- Confident in delivering GCSE History content
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Able to inspire curiosity and critical thinking in your students
