About the Role

We are seeking reliable and conscientious Exam Invigilators to join a high-performing, oversubscribed secondary school in Hertfordshire. This role involves supporting the Exams Officer with the smooth running and supervision of internal and external examinations throughout the academic year.

You will play a key part in ensuring exams are conducted in line with JCQ regulations, maintaining the integrity of the process, and supporting students to perform at their best. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for those seeking flexible, term-time work within an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of exam venues and materials.
  • Supervise students during examinations to ensure regulations are followed.
  • Distribute and collect exam papers and materials securely.
  • Monitor student conduct and report any irregularities.
  • Support the Exams Officer and wider exams team as required.

About You

  • Reliable, punctual, and professional.
  • Calm under pressure with strong attention to detail.
  • Able to follow procedures and maintain confidentiality.
  • Good communication skills and a supportive approach.
  • Previous experience in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
