English Teacher

A vibrant mainstream secondary school in Milton Keynes is seeking an English Teacher to join their team from January on a full-time temporary basis. You’ll deliver creative and challenging lessons across KS3 and KS4, supporting students to develop strong literacy, analytical, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4

Assess, track, and report on pupil progress effectively

Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Support the wider school community through enrichment activities

About You

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching English in UK secondary schools

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)

Excellent subject knowledge and classroom management skills

A commitment to fostering enthusiasm and achievement in all learners
