Design And Technology Teacher
About the Role
A mainstream secondary school in Milton Keynes is seeking a Design & Technology Teacher to join their team on a part-time temporary basis, teaching on Thursdays and Fridays from January. You’ll deliver practical and theory-based lessons that inspire creativity, innovation, and problem-solving among students.
Key Responsibilities
Teach engaging and hands-on Design & Technology lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils
Plan and prepare lessons that support skill development and design thinking
Monitor and assess student progress, providing effective feedback
Maintain a safe, well-organised, and inspiring workshop environment
Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery
About You
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching D&T in UK secondary schools
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
Strong practical skills and subject knowledge across design disciplines
A commitment to engaging, inclusive, and high-quality teaching
