Cover Supervisors

Dunbar Education is seeking experienced Cover Supervisors to join our network of secondary schools across the Telford area. If you have classroom experience and a passion for supporting young people’s education, we’d love to hear from you!

About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences. You’ll deliver pre-set lesson plans, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure that students stay engaged and on task across a range of subjects.

Responsibilities include:

• Supervising classes and delivering pre-prepared lessons
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively
• Supporting pupils with their learning where appropriate
• Ensuring a positive and productive classroom environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience working in a secondary school setting (essential)
• Confident classroom management skills
• Ability to engage and motivate students aged 11–16
• A proactive and professional attitude
• Degree or relevant experience in education or youth work
