About the Role

A well-regarded secondary school near Hitchin is seeking a Computer Science Teacher for a January start, covering a planned absence until July. This is a great opportunity for a teacher who can deliver clear, engaging lessons and support strong outcomes at KS3 and KS4.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Computer Science across KS3–KS4
• Plan, deliver and assess lessons aligned with the department curriculum
• Contribute to a high-achieving team with strong behaviour and academic expectations
• Support pupils’ progress through effective feedback and tracking

About You

• QTS required
• Experience teaching Computer Science in UK secondary schools
• Confident delivering theory and programming content at KS3–KS4
• Able to maintain high expectations in a well-behaved, high-performing environment
