Behaviour Mentor
A mainstream secondary school in Milton Keynes is looking for a confident and proactive Behaviour Mentor to join their team immediately. You’ll work closely with students who require additional behavioural and emotional support, helping them to re-engage with learning and develop positive relationships within school.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small group mentoring to support pupils with behavioural challenges
Implement behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques
Collaborate with teachers, pastoral staff, and SEN teams to promote pupil wellbeing
Track, record, and report on student progress and interventions
Support the creation of a calm, safe, and structured learning environment
About You
Experience working in a UK school in a pastoral, behaviour, or mentoring role
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Calm, resilient, and able to build trust with young people
A proactive approach with the ability to remain positive under pressure
