Behaviour Mentor
About the Role
A mainstream secondary school in Milton Keynes is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join their team immediately. You’ll support students who display challenging behaviour, helping them re-engage with learning and make positive progress both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small group mentoring for students requiring behavioural support
Implement behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques
Support teachers in maintaining a calm and inclusive classroom environment
Work collaboratively with pastoral and SEN teams to promote wellbeing
Monitor and report on student progress and outcomes
About You
Previous experience in a behaviour support, pastoral, or mentoring role within a UK school
Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
Calm, empathetic, and resilient under pressure
A strong desire to make a lasting difference in young people’s lives
