Art Teacher | Stevenage | ASAP Start | Temp to Perm | MPS – UPS (London Fringe)

About the Role

An excellent secondary school in the Stevenage area is seeking an Art Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. The position involves teaching engaging and creative Art lessons to full classes and supporting smaller intervention groups across KS3–KS4. This is a temp-to-perm role within a supportive and well-organised department.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Art lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Plan and assess learning in line with national curriculum standards
• Provide targeted support through smaller group intervention work
• Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school activities
• Maintain high expectations of student behaviour and engagement

About You

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required
• Experience teaching Art within UK secondary schools
• Confident classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge
• Committed to fostering creativity and achievement in every student
