Year 2 Teacher (Planning Role) – Luton

šŸ“…Ā Contract:Ā Fixed-term,Ā Tuesday 22nd April – Tuesday 22nd July
šŸ’°Ā Salary:Ā MPS, up to M6 (Pro Rata) depending on experience

About the Role

We are looking for aĀ dedicated Year 2 teacherĀ to join ourĀ supportive and collaborative teamĀ in a four-form entry primary school in Luton. ThisĀ fixed-term roleĀ will focus onĀ planning and preparation, working closely with the Year 2 staff team to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and prepareĀ engaging and effective lessons as part of the Year 2 team

  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and high-quality learning experiences

  • Support theĀ academic and personal developmentĀ of Year 2 pupils

  • Work within the school’s framework toĀ enhance pupil progress

Requirements

šŸŽ“Ā Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
šŸ“– Strong knowledge of theĀ KS1 curriculum, particularly literacy and numeracy
🌟 Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
šŸ“ Passion forĀ curriculum planningĀ and ensuring high standards of education
šŸ“¢ StrongĀ communication skillsĀ to liaise with colleagues and contribute to school life
šŸ”Ž Applicants must have anĀ Enhanced DBS on the Update ServiceĀ and provide two years’ worth of references
