Teachers:

  • ID – Passport/Driving Licence/Full UK Birth Cert
  • Right to work – Passport/Visa/Full UK Birth Cert
  • DBS
  • Qualifications/TRN
  • Overseas Police Check (if applicable)
  • Proof of Name Change (if applicable) – Marriage Cert or Deed Poll
  • References x2 – 2 educational references from last 2 employers – 1 most recent covering the last 11 months

NQTs:

Same as above

  • References – 1 university reference (PGCE mentor) and 1 from the most recent placement.

Teaching Assistants/Support Staff

  • ID – Passport/Driving Licence/Full UK Birth Cert
  • Right to work – Passport/Visa/Full UK Birth Cert
  • DBS
  • Qualifications
  • Proof of National Insurance
  • Overseas Police Check (if applicable)
  • References x2 – last 2 employers – same as above, however not required to be educational – (Please check reference criteria)

All candidates will have internal checks carried out

  • Barred List check
  • NCTL check
  • Sanctions and Prohibition checks
  • DBS update Service check – not necessary for Perm candidates but an advantage
