About the Role
A dynamic opportunity for a Chemistry specialist to teach within a forward-thinking secondary school. You will deliver high-quality Science teaching, with the ability to teach Chemistry at KS4 and KS5, supporting strong academic progress and examination success.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Chemistry across KS4 and KS5 (with potential to contribute to wider Science teaching)
Plan and deliver challenging, well-sequenced lessons
Use assessment strategically to monitor and improve student progress
Promote high expectations for behaviour and academic achievement
Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development
Fulfil Form Tutor responsibilities in line with whole-school expectations
About You
QTS and a relevant Science degree
Ability to teach Chemistry (KS4 & KS5 essential)
Strong organisational and administrative skills
Confident use of ICT to enhance learning
Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement
Clear dedication to safeguarding and student wellbeing
