About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Studies Teacher to join a high-performing secondary setting. Teaching across KS4 and KS5, you will deliver engaging, outcomes-focused lessons that equip students with strong commercial understanding and analytical skills while driving consistently high standards of attainment.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Business Studies across KS4 and KS5
• Plan and deliver well-structured lessons that promote sustained progress
• Use assessment data effectively to raise standards and close attainment gaps
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental improvement
• Act as a Form Tutor, supporting student wellbeing and personal development
• Uphold safeguarding, behaviour, and professional standards at all times

About You

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
• Proven record of consistently good or outstanding teaching
• Experience teaching across 11–18 age range
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of examination requirements
• Effective behaviour management and classroom practice
• Commitment to safeguarding and maintaining a caring, supportive ethos
