About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Studies Teacher to join a high-performing secondary setting. Teaching across KS4 and KS5, you will deliver engaging, outcomes-focused lessons that equip students with strong commercial understanding and analytical skills while driving consistently high standards of attainment.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Business Studies across KS4 and KS5
- Plan and deliver well-structured lessons that promote sustained progress
- Use assessment data effectively to raise standards and close attainment gaps
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental improvement
- Act as a Form Tutor, supporting student wellbeing and personal development
- Uphold safeguarding, behaviour, and professional standards at all times
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
- Proven record of consistently good or outstanding teaching
- Experience teaching across 11–18 age range
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of examination requirements
- Effective behaviour management and classroom practice
- Commitment to safeguarding and maintaining a caring, supportive ethos
