About the Role
A welcoming mainstream primary school in Slough is seeking a Year 5 Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a permanent, full-time basis. You’ll teach a motivated KS2 class, delivering engaging lessons that build confidence, independence, and strong academic foundations as pupils progress through upper KS2.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the KS2 national curriculum
- Assess, monitor, and support pupil progress to ensure positive outcomes
- Create a structured, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
- Contribute to wider school life and enrichment opportunities
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in UK primary schools
- Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum, particularly upper KS2
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A positive, professional, and reflective approach to teaching
