English Teacher

A mainstream secondary school in Milton Keynes is seeking an English Teacher to join their team from February on a full-time, long-term temporary basis. This 11-week booking will focus primarily on teaching KS3 English, delivering structured and engaging lessons that support strong literacy development and pupil progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3
• Plan, assess, and adapt lessons to meet pupil needs
• Track progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
• Maintain a positive and purposeful classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with the English department and wider school team

About You

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching English in UK secondary schools
• Strong knowledge of the KS3 English curriculum
• Confident classroom management and clear communication skills
• A professional and adaptable approach to a long-term supply role
