Specialist Send Ta

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join our supportive SEND setting. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
• Supporting pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and personal care where required
• Creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment

Requirements:

• Experience working in a SEND setting (preferred but not essential)
• A patient, flexible, and caring approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS certificate covering both Child and Adult workforce (mandatory)
