About the Role:

Dunbar Education is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to support children in schools across Watford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys making a real difference in the lives of pupils with Special Educational Needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with SEN in the classroom and during small group interventions.
  • Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning activities.
  • Help students develop independence, confidence, and social skills.
  • Monitor and report on progress and behavioural needs.
  • Promote inclusion and positive behaviour within the school environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience supporting children in an educational or SEN setting.
  • Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work across different schools and age groups.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are desirable but not essential.
