Year 2 Teacher

We are working with a friendly and high-achieving primary school in Slough seeking a Year 2 Teacher to start immediately. You’ll play an important role in preparing pupils for their transition into KS2, ensuring they develop strong academic and personal skills through engaging and well-structured teaching.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver well-planned and interactive lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum

Support pupils’ progress through effective assessment and feedback

Maintain an organised and engaging classroom environment

Work closely with teaching assistants and colleagues to promote inclusive learning

Encourage pupils’ curiosity, confidence, and independence

About You

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in UK primary schools

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)

A thorough understanding of the KS1 curriculum and pupil progress expectations

Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills
