Year 5 Teacher

A successful mainstream primary school in Slough is seeking an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join their team from January. You’ll be teaching a lively and motivated class, preparing pupils for the transition into upper KS2 and supporting them to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging lessons that challenge and inspire pupils

Assess and monitor progress to ensure every learner achieves success

Encourage independence, teamwork, and confidence in the classroom

Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and resources

Support wider school life and enrichment activities

About You

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and proven UK teaching experience

Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and effective teaching strategies

Excellent classroom management and communication skills

A genuine passion for supporting pupil growth and achievement
