English Teacher
About the Role
We are currently seeking an English Teacher to join a mainstream secondary school in Aylesbury on a full-time temporary basis, starting as soon as possible. You’ll be responsible for delivering engaging English lessons that inspire students and help them achieve strong academic results.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver creative and curriculum-aligned English lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils
Plan and assess learning to ensure steady progress for all students
Support the school’s literacy strategy and wider enrichment initiatives
Maintain high expectations for learning and behaviour
Collaborate effectively with colleagues and pastoral teams
About You
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching English in UK secondary schools
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
Strong communication and classroom management skills
A commitment to high standards and student success
