SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Bedfordshire (Bedford, Luton, and surrounding areas)
Contract Type: Long-Term / Day-to-Day / Full-Time
Start Date: Immediate / Post Half-Term
Salary: £100–£140 per day (depending on experience)
Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next role?
Dunbar Education are working with a number of special schools and SEN provisions across Bedfordshire who are seeking passionate and dedicated SEN TAs to support students with autism (ASD), SEMH, and complex learning needs.
We are looking for five experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join our growing network of schools after half term — supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or within small groups, helping them to develop confidence, communication, and independence.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, ideally within specialist or mainstream schools
- Strong understanding of behaviour management and communication strategies
- Positive, patient, and resilient attitude
- Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
- Willingness to work as part of a dedicated SEN team
