About the Role
Dunbar Education is seeking an experienced Geography Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Smethwick after October Half Term. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, within a supportive Humanities department that values collaboration and creativity in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and achievement
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop schemes of work and enrichment opportunities
- Contribute to the wider school community and department initiatives
About You
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Have UK secondary school teaching experience in Geography
- Confident in delivering lessons to KS3 and KS4
- Strong classroom management and effective communication skills
