Geography Teacher

About the Role

Dunbar Education is seeking an experienced Geography Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Smethwick after October Half Term. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, within a supportive Humanities department that values collaboration and creativity in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons aligned with the national curriculum
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
• Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and achievement
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop schemes of work and enrichment opportunities
• Contribute to the wider school community and department initiatives

About You

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Have UK secondary school teaching experience in Geography
• Confident in delivering lessons to KS3 and KS4
• Strong classroom management and effective communication skills
